The Corso Fleuri parade plunges Pélissanne into the world of video games

At Pélissanne, spring this year is synonymous with creativity and popular culture. The flowered parade is organized on Sunday, March 29th starting at 3 pm, with a new theme: “video games.”

This event has been around for several years and represents an important moment in the local life. Associations and volunteers often work for several months to prepare the floats and costumes.

The richly decorated floats slowly parade through the city center accompanied by musical groups, dancers, and people in costumes. This year, the public can discover eight floats, including Fortnite and Minecraft.

A touch of modernity

The 2026 edition marks a desire for modernization. “The new generation is here, with a DJ float imagined by a group of young people aged 19 to 26. They have a ‘before’ outing, and wander before the start of the parade in the city streets,” highlights Ludovic Huet-Arika, president. “Another new feature: the integration of 3D printed pieces on one of the floats, illustrating the evolution of techniques in the service of tradition.”
