After their duel in early March at the Strade Bianche, the Slovenian and the Frenchman will face off again at the end of April in Belgium.
Tadej Pogacar and Paul Seixas are gearing up for a rematch. Pogacar, coming off a frustrating second place at Paris-Roubaix last Sunday, and Seixas, who shone brightly at the Tour of the Basque Country that he dominated, will meet for the second time this season at the end of the month for a highly anticipated showdown.
The showdown will take place on the Liège-Bastogne-Liège course on April 26. The leader of the UAE Team Emirates will aim for a third consecutive victory in the Ardennes classic, while the Frenchman will face this challenge for the first time in his professional career.
Seixas has already won on the Liège-Bastogne-Liège course in 2024 during his time as a junior. Before facing off against “Pogi,” Seixas will also compete in the Flèche Wallonne four days prior, while his opponent will arrive fresh to defend his title.
Pogacar will take a brief rest after the Hell of the North before tackling Liège-Bastogne-Liège, followed by the Tour de Romandie (April 28-May 3) and the Tour de Suisse (June 17-21), the final rehearsals before the Tour de France where he may meet the Frenchman, whose participation has not yet been confirmed.
