Therapy without prescription

Culture is a natural antidepressant with no side effects other than possibly happiness and peace of mind, a certain tranquility of the soul. From Le Vigan to Arles, every week, find shows not to be missed at reasonable prices, while waiting for them to be reimbursed by the health insurance.

Spoil the right hemisphere of your brain each week, the side effects will quickly be felt.

Musical Nights, program and reservations here

The program of the 55th edition of the Nuits Musicales d’Uzès will take place this week. An opportunity to discover the festival program, which will be held from July 18 to 29, 2026 in several emblematic locations of the city.

This new edition offers eight evenings of concerts. Baroque music, classical repertoire, piano recitals, and musical creations, featuring virtuoso pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, the European Young Baroque Orchestra, Samuel Mariño, Alexandre Tharaud, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, and the Ensemble Matheus.

The festival will also feature the creation “La Sultane” by André Manoukian, the Rosenberg Trio, and a tribute concert to Cesaria Evora to end this edition.

Expo at the Avignon Salt Attic

The exhibition “Des raisonnements déraisonnables” by the artist Julien Prévieux, a major figure in the contemporary art scene and winner of the Marcel Duchamp Prize 2014, is presented at the Avignon Salt Attic. It explores the issues, flaws, and absurdities of a world increasingly governed by so-called “intelligent” machines.

The exhibition denounces language systems as structures of power, regulation, and meaning production, through two domains. Spatial activities and artificial intelligences. It combines a retrospective and prospective dimension of Julien Prévieux’s work, with foundational works and several new creations produced for the occasion. Some focus on AI hallucinations and invisible malfunctions in generative models, highlighting issues of machine control and possible failures.

Born in 1974 in Grenoble and living in Paris, Julien Prévieux develops a multidisciplinary practice, including visual arts, performance, computer science, artificial intelligence, and choreography, to question the impact of technologies on our societies.
