Chronoscript: The Endless End

SHUEISHA GAMES Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “SHUEISHA GAMES”) today revealed a new trailer for Chronoscript: The Endless Endan action-adventure game focused on exploration, developed by DeskWorks Inc. This video introduces the “Age of Discovery” level for the first time, offering a new glimpse of never-before-seen environments as well as as new enemy bosses.

In Chronoscript: The Endless Endplayers take on the role of an editor trapped inside a mysterious manuscript. To escape, they will have to uncover the secrets of an age-old story that continues to be written beyond its own end, by freely navigating between 2D manuscript pages illustrated with pen and ink, and a 3D mansion cluttered with scattered manuscripts.

Players explore a world assembled from thousands of hand-drawn pages, each forming a distinct environment. Along the way, they confront the Cursed Vestiges, figures who once shaped History but have returned in distorted forms, while discovering fragments of a story spanning the centuries.

The interior of the writer’s mansion resembles a private museum, decorated with rooms inspired by different “epochs” of world history. The trailer revealed today highlights the “Age of Discovery” level, a symbol of exploration and pioneering spirit, as well as the fierce battles against the enemies lurking there.

Chronoscript: The Endless End can now be added to the wishlist on PlayStation and Steam, ahead of its planned release in 2026.
