A Thunderobot slide revealed two AMD chips that are still unofficial: Medusa Point et Medusa Hello. The most interesting thing is not their mere mention, but their direct integration into an already segmented range of AI stations.
Medusa Halo already appears in the AI Master range
During a launch event in China, Thunderobot presented a product roadmap structured around three lines: AI Master T for the tricks, AI Master D for mini stations and AI Master M for mobile machines.
In this presentation, systems based on Strix Halo et Gorgon Halo are associated with clustered uses. The same line also quotes Medusa Pointwhile another mention of Medusa Hello suggests that Thunderobot is already preparing to take over from the Ryzen AI Max 400 platforms in the mini station segment.

This reading takes on even more meaning when we compare it to the first elements on the Zen 6 Medusa Point 1 mobile APU already spotted in 4C4D configuration with an iGPU limited to 8 CU, because Thunderobot seems precisely to capitalize on this increase in power to structure its future compact machines around AMD.
Thunderobot has not published any product visuals, calendars or technical sheets for these machines. At this stage, the slide mainly shows how the manufacturer is aligning its future compact offering around AMD’s current and future AI SoCs.
At the other end of the spectrum, the clues on Medusa Halo and its objective of reinforced bandwidth thanks to LPDDR6 and a very large memory bus clearly illuminate the logic of Thunderobot’s AI stations, designed to absorb heavier loads than those of a simple compact PC.
What the leaks say about Medusa Point and Medusa Halo
According to the information currently circulating, Medusa Point 1 would use a CPU configuration 4P + 4D + 2LP-Eaccompanied by a class iGPU RDNA endowed with 8 CU. Medusa Hello would go further with a more imposing integrated graphics part and up to two 12-core CPU dies.
AMD has not confirmed any of these items. These specifications must therefore be treated as working indications, not as a final description.
From Threadripper PRO towers to AI wearables
The same roadmap also details the configurations planned for the tower format stations. Thunderobot associates a Threadripper PRO 9995WX Ã quatre Radeon AI PRO R9700and Threadripper 9980X Ã two Radeon AI PRO R9700and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D Ã a Radeon AI PRO R9700.
On the mobile side, the brand also mentions Strix Halo et Gorgon Haloin parallel with gaming or AI laptops based on AMD and NVIDIA platforms.
The presence of Medusa Point and Medusa Halo in a manufacturer’s roadmap indicates at least that AMD has already given enough visibility to its partners to prepare the commercial positioning of the next machines. For the compact station market, this suggests a rapid rise in CPU and iGPU capacities on formats hitherto dominated by compromises.
