Splatoon Raiders: a Direct broadcast on June 30, 2026, celebrations announced for Splatoon 3, new information, videos and images – Nintendo-Difference

The Nintendo Direct of June 9, 2026 allowed us to learn more about Splatoon Raidersa brand new game focused on solo play, which will therefore be derived from the numbered episodes, but which will still include the possibility of play up to four online and locally to team up and go on a group expedition. Even more information will also be revealed during a Live broadcast specially dedicated to Splatoon Raiders which will be broadcast on June 30, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. (French time). Here are the sequences shown in the Live:

 

 

During the Direct, Nintendo started by showing the base offshorewhich is the starting point of the game. This is where the Tridenferthe fictional group that first appeared in Splatoon 3, has settled down. We embody the Mécanowhich will be possible to personalize. The offshore base is the center of operations, in a treasure hunt on the islands of the Spirhalite archipelago. In the different areas of the game, the treasures we seek are at the foot of columns of light. However, there will of course be obstacles, such as banks of Salmonoids which will therefore have to be attacked. To confront them, we will receive help from Raimi, Angie et Pasqualewho will pilot a robot d’exploration. Every time we go exploring, a member of the Tridenfer will be at our side. Each of them will help propel themselves into the air and will be able to shoot ink and mine finds, or even leave their robot for a few moments to perform special attacks. We can also count on gadgets, like the marmitourelle which draws ink continuously, the splashette which allows direct attacks to be carried out, splatellites that revolve around our character and more. It will be possible to equip several gadgets at once. Throughout the expeditions, we will gain levels. Our character will therefore become stronger and stronger and it will also be possible to use all kinds of improvements. In recent days, Nintendo had also shared some additional details on the official Japanese, English and French Twitter accounts of the series, accompanied by images and videos.

Nintendo also announced that daily comics (in four boxes) will be broadcast in the Nintendo Today application! on Android and iOS between June 23 and July 23, 2026telling the story that precedes Splatoon Raiders. They will be titled “ The island misadventures of the Hell Tribe ».

 

 

Celebrations around Splatoon Raiders will also take place in Splatoon 3. A special festival will be organized in the game between July 11 at 02:00 and July 13 at 02:00 (French time). You will have to choose what you want to prioritize in combat, between speed, power or tactics. By playing the game during the prestival or the festival itself, you will be able to complete a mission in the Nintendo Switch Online application on Switch or Switch 2 which will change its appearance to display it in the colors of the linked festival. Once the festival is over, the application will once again change its appearance to pay tribute to the winning team. We will also have the possibility to collect special icon elements. In addition, 9 Splatoons from Splatoon 3 with designs inspired by Splatoon Raiders can be collected from an article which will be accessible from the news application on Switch or Switch 2.

Splatoon Raiders will be available on July 23 next exclusively on Switch 2, priced at €49.99 for download and €59.99 for physical. The space required for downloading the dematerialized version is currently set at 20 Go. The release of the game will be accompanied by a pack of three new amiibo featuring Tridenfer, Angie, Pasquale and Raimiwith their Splatoon Raiders looks, which can also be displayed together thanks to their bases that can be connected. It will cost 59,99 €. A pair of light blue/yellow Joy-Con 2s will also be available on July 23. In addition, Nintendo announced a bundle including a Switch 2 and the downloadable version of Splatoon Raiders for Japan. This will only be the Japanese version of the console, and the pack will therefore cost 64,980 yen.
