Good news for PUBG: Battlegrounds players: update 41.1 has just been deployed, and it brings a lot of new features to renew the experience. Between new game mode, collaborations and gameplay improvements, there is enough to restart a few games.
Xeno Point: a PvE mode that changes everything
The big new feature of this update is clearly Xeno Pointa PvE cooperative mode with a roguelite flavor. Exit the traditional battle royale, here players must unite to survive an alien invasion on Miramar.
Cosmic horror atmosphere, enemies from elsewhere, special powers and dynamic progression: each part is different thanks to randomly generated levels. You start quietly in a central area, chain together missions, improve your character and end up facing a tough boss named the Architect.
Nice little bonus: a special event with a cash prize of $100,000 is planned for streamers on Twitch and Kick.
A crossover with Stellar Blade
Another notable addition: a collaboration with Stellar Blade. L’héroïne EVE arrives in PUBG with a series of cosmetic content.
On the program:
- Several outfits (including her iconic look)
- Emotes and animations
- Weapon skins and accessories
- Stylish visual effects
A revisited version of the character, adapted to the more raw and survivalist universe of PUBG.
The return of aespa
K-pop fans will be happy: the collaboration with aespa returns for a limited time.
From April 22 to 30, it will be possible to collect:
- Thematic outfits
- Weapon skins
- Des emotes
- And even a little more fun items like stove or parachute skins
Some welcome improvements
Finally, the update also brings gameplay adjustments:
- Destructible terrain is coming to Erangel
- A new level 3 jammer appears
- And it is now possible to request supply drops via enemy Blue Chips
Enough to add a little more strategy to the games.
With this update 41.1, PUBG is clearly trying to renew itself by offering a more varied experience, particularly with its PvE mode. A good excuse to restart the game, right?
