Attention Potterheads, the Drone Art Show celebrates the 25th anniversary of the saga in July. Registration for online tickets is now open.
After the huge success of the drone show at the Festival of Lights, a new performance of the same kind will take place on July 9, 10, and 11 at the Lyon-Parilly racecourse. Ticket sales will open on Wednesday, April 29 at 4 pm, with optional registration for priority access to seats.
1200 drones
The Drone Art Show is a large-scale event organized by Warner Bros Discovery and the Fever platform. It has already toured the United States and the United Kingdom before its thousands of drones take flight in the Lyon sky.
Entries will start from 8 pm, for a one-hour show with an intermission starting at 10 pm. Please note that latecomers may not be admitted, as 10 pm is the cutoff time to arrive.
Stars and Butterbeer
While waiting for the show and during the intermission, a bar with products recognizable to fans, such as butterbeer, food stands, wands, scarves—all derivative products from the saga will be available on-site.
The show will start with the iconic notes of Harry Potter, played live by a violinist with a luminous bow. The Drone Art Show will also feature synchronized light-up bracelets that will illuminate in sync with the drones.
The drones will depict Harry Potter’s iconic moments in the night sky. It might get chilly as night falls, so don’t forget to bundle up: a black cape and a scarf in your house colors should do the trick.
