In 2014, the director and actress Charlotte de Turckheim and her husband Zaman Hachemi became owners of a magnificent property located in the heart of Provence. The couple decided to renovate the property to open guest rooms to the public. The property, known as “Notre Dame” by Charlotte de Turckheim, has 4 rooms and 5 cottages, with prices ranging from 190 to 600 euros per night, depending on the season. Three of the rooms are named after her daughters Julia, Clara, and Johanna from her previous marriage, while the fourth is named after Jeanne, her current husband’s daughter from a previous relationship. This is a way for the actress to pay tribute to her daughters, whom she adores and admires, as she mentioned in an interview in 2023.
A property with exceptional charm, located in the village of Eygalières, just a few kilometers from Arles and Avignon, the large stone property is hidden among almond, truffle pine, and olive trees. In addition to cozy nights, Charlotte de Turckheim and her husband offer various activities such as a swimming pool, trampoline, ping-pong table, and petanque. Breakfast is included in each night’s stay and features a buffet of local and organic products from the farm. Charlotte’s daughter, Julia Piaton, manages the family property, creating a true Provencal atmosphere by using colors and furniture made by local artisans or from movie sets in which they have acted.
