A concert by the Corsican music group I Messageri will take place on Thursday, May 14th at 8:00 PM at the collegiate church. The group, founded by the Andreani brothers in 1996, has established itself as a reference in the Corsican musical landscape.
With five albums and numerous concerts throughout Europe, I Messageri has continued to spread its powerful songs to an increasingly large audience over the years. Fabrice and Jean-Michel Andreani, accompanied by renowned musicians, interpret contemporary Corsica, deeply rooted in its traditions but always looking towards the future.
Blending traditional music with modern rhythms, I Messageri explores world music to create a boundary-free sound where Corsica unites people. Through their songs, voices and melodies intertwine, soaring through the colors of a church, the illuminated ceiling of a theater, the starry sky of a village square, returning like a familiar refrain, accompanying the passage of days.
