Victoria Mas, the daughter of the iconic French singer Jeanne Mas, has carved out her own path as a talented writer. Growing up with a love for solitude and books, she found her passion for writing at a young age. After living in California and pursuing various roles in the film industry, Victoria returned to France to pursue her dream of writing in her native language.
Although her initial novels were rejected for being too autobiographical, Victoria persisted and finally found success with her novel “Le Bal des folles” in 2019. This critically acclaimed book sheds light on the lives of “hysterical” women in the 19th century, earning her multiple literary awards and even a film adaptation in 2021.
Since then, Victoria has released two more novels, exploring forgotten historical events and figures. Her mother, Jeanne Mas, proud of her daughter’s success as a writer, praises not only her talent but also the woman she has become.
