We intuitively know that music makes us feel good, but what really happens in our brain? How can music, as shown by research in neuroscience, heal us at all ages and regardless of the pathologies?

Let’s ask ourselves why and how music benefits us so much. Intuitively, music calms us, comforts us, brings us together. It connects us and touches us, but to what extent?

What actually happens in our brain when we listen to music? And why is it good for physical and mental health, at all ages and for many pathologies as the most recent research in neuroscience shows: music can heal us!
