The first evening, Friday, July 3, will see the French electro-dub duo Bleu Soleil, the singer-songwriter and performer St Graal, and the group FFF perform. The selection highlights talented artists full of energy who are sure to get the audience at the cave garden moving, a bucolic site hosting the musical event.

Sensitive universes: Deep bass, soft and captivating melodies, airy vocals: Bleu Soleil (opening act) embraces a hybrid and sunny sound, somewhere between Panda Dub, Polo and Pan, and contemporary pop. After earning a diamond single with their hit “Soleil bleu,” in collaboration with Luiza, the duo performed for the first time in Paris at La Bellevilloise on March 27. They will tour festivals this summer, including the Basque coast.

With St-Graal, another sensitive universe. From his EP “Extraordinaires Histoires d’amour,” we appreciate a sharp lyricist who navigates timeless themes of romantic passions. His romantic verve unfolds over incisive guitars, electro pulses, and auto-tuned vocals. It’s going to be immersive!

In the aftermath, the legendary group FFF (French Funk Federation) and their leader Marco Prince take the stage. Founded in the 1980s, they revolutionized the alternative scene by inventing funk-rock fusion. The spirited fifty-somethings, after a twenty-three-year hiatus in discography, made a remarkable comeback three years ago, showcasing their art of mixing genres, plugging in amps, and exuding a ton of energy.

Vibrant, organic, energetic: Saturday, July 4, promises another enticing evening. Frank & Damien (opening act), singer Imany, and British singer-songwriter and guitarist Charlie Winston are scheduled.

Frank & Damien, the inspiring Bordeaux duo, weaves through blues, folk-rock, and country roots on a Californian road trip. Their second album, “Juniper Road,” combines energetic tracks with melancholic ballads. Their delicate compositions, with influences from surfing culture and expansive spaces, blend into a more aggressive style.

Imany, the singer from Comoros, will then perform. With a distinctive vocal style reminiscent of Tracy Chapman, she revisits rock and pop classics from Radiohead to Cat Stevens, Donna Summer, Bob Marley, and Daft Punk.

Finally, Charlie Winston will close out this 10th edition of the Nocturnes. Carrying his new album “Love Isn’t Easy” on his shoulder, the talented multi-instrumentalist, surrounded by his bandmates François Lasserre, Louis Sommer, and Noé Benita, will deliver a performance filled with humor, emotion, and energy to share with the audience a vibrant and organic album where music breathes as an extension of himself.
