Narbo Via invites you to the inauguration of a collective work that combines current music and ceramics with ancient heritage. The piece, powered by original music composed by Thierry Gomar, pays tribute to a lost ancient monument. The event will include a solo performance by the musician and the official presentation of a lighthouse created in partnership with the Local Mission under the guidance of ceramist Magali Satgé. This will inaugurate the events celebrating the five-year anniversary of the museum on Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 pm.

A series of collective works that respond to each other have inspired the original composition that Narbonne percussionist Thierry Gomar will perform solo at the NarboVia Museum on Thursday, April 16 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Under the guidance of Parisian ceramist Magali Satgé, around ten participants from the Youth Local Mission of Grand Narbonne have created a lighthouse with decorated brick and bas-relief. This structure echoes the ancient lighthouse of the St Martin church. Narbonnais Thierry Gomar has composed a musical piece for percussion instruments and ceramics. Since 2019, this artist who has regularly performed on major international stages and collaborated with renowned musicians, has been working on numerous writing projects and conducting stage performances that include various techniques of images, written music, and improvised music in immersive experiences.

Magali Satgé is passionate about ancient pottery techniques and loves primitive arts. She is known for her monumental and participatory creations. The artist oversaw the collective sculpture project with the participation of the Local Mission, students from the Patio des Arts, and visitors of the museum.
