Maissane disclosed that before the story became public, both Sisik and her were victims of a blackmail attempt. In Jesta’s podcast, Maissane openly discussed this blackmail attempt. She explained that out of panic, she initially thought of giving in, saying, “Let’s pay the man, give him money.” However, Sisik firmly refused to give in to the pressure, stating, “No, no one can blackmail me,” she recounted. This firm stance, according to her, allowed the situation to escalate. In hindsight, she admits that she wished the matter had stayed private. “It should have been a story between us and settled between us,” she revealed, visibly affected. She also mentioned that this discretion could have prevented Emine from discovering the betrayal from someone else before the story went public on social media.
A long financial blackmail with serious consequences
Maissane then explained her attempts to take control of the situation with the alleged blackmailer. She tried to negotiate directly with him, find a solution to calm things down, but soon realized it was impossible. “He didn’t care. He wanted his money, that’s it,” she expressed. She added that he even demanded that Sisik himself pay, refusing any other arrangement. Behind this story, there have been widespread repercussions. Emine has officially split from Maissane. On the other hand, Noémie Mabelleuh and Jazz Correia have cut ties, with Jazz stopping following Sisik. As for Maissane, she publicly apologized and hoped to rebuild something with Emine, but the response was a firm “No.” This word sealed the break, amidst a blackmail scheme that could have been avoided and ended up causing everything to explode.
