The volunteers and team at Le Vog present a focus on music in cinema, featuring screenings of films about the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Vivaldi, the Blues Brothers, and the Irish group Kneecap. The 12 films, including a premiere, were chosen to offer a variety of genres such as fiction, documentary, animation, and musical comedy.
Films, karaoke, and quiz
As part of this musical stopover, “Sur un air de blues” by Craig Brewer will be screened on Wednesday, April 22nd at 8:30 pm for the event’s opening (also on Friday, April 24th at 2:30 pm), “Vivaldi et moi” by Damiano Michieletto on Saturday, April 25th at 9 pm preceded by a short voice/saxophone concert, and “The Blues Brothers” by John Landis for the closing on Sunday, April 26th at 8:30 pm. Additionally, there will be an instrument discovery session for children on Wednesday, April 22nd at 10:30 am, a music and cinema quiz on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:30 pm, and karaoke on Sunday, April 26th at 8 pm.
As in every edition, a convivial and culinary evening is planned for Saturday, April 25th, featuring a wine tasting hosted by Cave des Astres.
The cinema volunteers are very committed to making this edition a success. They even recreated the iconic Beatles album cover photo for “Abbey Road” for the event poster.
