The goalkeepers

Coming from the youth teams of AC Milan, Noah Raveyre is unlikely to see out the three-year contract he signed last summer. The goalkeeper, who has been one of the standout performers of the season, is expected to be sold in the player’s and Pau FC’s best interests. Despite a rather average season, he is valued at €2 million according to Transfermarkt.

His competitor, Esteban Salles, is likely to complete his final year of contract in Béarn, even though he also had a disappointing season despite finishing as number one.

The defense

As predicted by La Rép, Captain Jean Ruiz will be changing teams after four years in Béarn. Two potential destinations stand out. Montpellier or Sochaux – especially if the Doubs club moves up to Ligue 2 – could welcome the 28-year-old central defender. Looking to gain more playing time, Setigui Karamoko is also expected to seek opportunities elsewhere. However, Anthony Briançon seems set to start his second season in Béarn.

The situation with Joseph Kalulu is unique: the left-back, who had four offers during the last winter transfer window, chose to stay. Happy at Pau and content with his potential starting status, the 22-year-old player, with two years left on his contract, is open to extending his adventure. It remains to be seen if certain opportunities might change his mind during the summer.

Ousmane Kante is likely to retire and possibly join the staff of Pau FC, in what capacity remains to be determined. The club also hopes to retain Daylam Meddah, who is still under contract. However, an offer could still alter the situation.

Souleymane Basse, also under contract and arrived mid-season, is expected to complete his final year. Pau is also considering keeping Neil Glossoa, who shows great potential. Finally, options remain open regarding Tom Pouilly, who is still tied to Pau for two more years.

In midfield

At 27, Julien Anziani would like to sign a lucrative contract. If such an offer comes from elsewhere, he will leave. The club and the midfielder have set a deadline beyond which the Corsican will remain at Pau. Both parties would like to keep Rayan Touzghar for another season. With one year left on the contract for the 23-year-old Moroccan, he could extend, hoping that the next season will be a stepping stone for higher prospects, unless a significant offer changes plans.

Out of contract, Antonin Bobichon is expected to begin discussions with Pau. The club is open to extending his contract if the midfielder adjusts his demands. If this happens, the 31-year-old midfielder will compete with a new signing.

The attack

Respectively sought after by Paris FC and Augsburg, Omar Sissoko and Kyliane Dong may return. This idea appeals to Pau FC, especially since both attackers fit well into Coach Thierry Debès’ system. However, ultimately the decision is not in Pau’s hands.

Pau, on the other hand, has control over the Versini situation. Even though it is clear that the promising player will aim higher. Just being part of the Ligue 2 starting lineup is encouraging, and the benefits that come with it would secure Pau FC’s future.

As for Sadik, his contract is expiring. After a good start, the number 9 has succeeded. He will return to Espanyol a year after arriving in Béarn.
