Report: FC Bayern agrees with winger but it would be very, very expensive
Reportedly, FC Bayern has reached an agreement with Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for the upcoming season. According to English media reports, the 25-year-old teammate of national player Nick Woltemade is set to receive a five-year contract.
However, a significant obstacle in a potential transfer is the transfer fee for the winger. The English Premier League club, where Gordon is under contract until 2030, reportedly demands at least 75 million pounds (86.5 million euros).
Gordon moved to Newcastle from FC Everton in January 2023 for a transfer fee of around 45 million euros. In 152 appearances for the Magpies, he scored 39 goals and provided 28 assists.
