Dole. A summer beginning filled with sports and celebrations
The thirteenth stage of the Tour de France will start from Dole.

As the summer approaches, Dole confirms its dynamism with a series of sports and festive events that will liven up the coming weeks. Between international competitions, solidarity events, and new activities, the city aims to attract a wide audience and enliven its territory.

The season will kick off from May 28 to 31 with the CSI de Dole, held at the equestrian center of the Chaux forest. This international show jumping competition will bring together riders of different levels, from CSI 1* to CSI 2*, not forgetting the events reserved for young horses and amateurs.

Over four days, the site will host a packed program, featuring technical courses and highlights, especially during the weekend Grand Prix. For enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike, the show promises to be impressive, set in a natural environment conducive to the event.

An eclectic and festive program

On May 30, there will be a change of pace with the first edition of Rock in Cross, organized at Combe aux Loups in collaboration with the Dole Motorcycle Union. Designed as a hybrid event, it will offer motocross demonstrations, initiations for the younger ones, as well as entertainment, food trucks, and a bar.

The day will continue in the evening with three rock concerts, including the notable presence of Farid Medjane, former drummer of the band Trust. The goal is clear: to create a popular, accessible, and festive event, capable of bringing together different audiences around a common energy.

A few days later, on June 2, the Robert-Bobin stadium will host a gala match like no other. Organized by the organizers of the Dole Cycling Criterion and with the support of former international player Djibril Cissé, this match will mix former professionals like Robert Pirès or Michaël Isabey, athletes, and volunteers.

Beyond the sporting event, it is a cause that mobilizes: supporting Maël, a young boy with severe disabilities requiring expensive care. The proceeds will be donated to the association that supports the child. An evening where sports and solidarity will merge.

The Tour de France as a climax

The highlight of this sequence will be the passage of the Tour de France on July 17. Dole will be the starting city of the thirteenth stage, with a carefully designed urban course. The peloton will cross several iconic arteries of the city center before heading towards Haute-Saône and Territoire de Belfort for a stage of over 200 kilometers.

Over the weeks, Dole is asserting itself as a true playground for sport in all its forms. A dynamic that heralds an animated season, where the sporting spirit will combine with conviviality and commitment.
