Atos wins cybersecurity contract with Luxembourg army

IT services group Atos announced on Monday that its cybersecurity branch Eviden had secured a contract with the Luxembourg army, the financial terms of which were not disclosed.

“This contract is part of the cooperation agreement between Belgium and Luxembourg to establish a medium reconnaissance combat battalion, based on operational and digital convergence aligned with the French standard SCORPION,” Atos said in a statement.

Eviden will equip the Luxembourg army with a training platform for the Scorpion combat information system (SICS). The company will also study the digitalization of Luxembourgish forces vehicles to make them interoperable with the new “CaMo” motorized vehicle generation.

Luxembourg has purchased 54 CaMo vehicles as part of creating a binational battalion with Belgium.

Eviden is Atos’ branch dedicated to cybersecurity products, critical systems, and video analysis.
