Israeli army establishes ‘yellow line’ in southern Lebanon and Gaza

Israeli army has established a “yellow line” demarcation in southern Lebanon, similar to Gaza, and conducted strikes against suspects approaching its troops.
« Au cours des dernières 24 heures, les forces [israéliennes déployées] au sud de la ligne jaune, dans le sud du Liban, ont repéré des terroristes qui violaient les arrangements du cessez-le-feu et s’étaient approchés des forces à partir de zones au nord de la ligne jaune d’une manière présentant une menace immédiate », indicates a military statement on the second day of truce with Lebanon.
Une « nouvelle frontière »
In Gaza, the “yellow line” marks the boundary between the area controlled by Hamas and that held by the Israeli army, representing over 50% of the territory after Israeli troops withdrew as part of a ceasefire in October.
