KRAFTON, Inc. announced today that PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a new tactical PvP 5v5 shooting game with a top-down perspective developed by PUBG STUDIOS, is now available for early access on Steam as a free-to-play experience.
PUBG: BLINDSPOT reinvents close-quarters combat in the PUBG universe. Designed for fast and intense indoor skirmishes, the game brings CQB tactics and team strategies to a top-down perspective while delivering the tension and realism players expect from the PUBG universe. Set as a spin-off taking place decades after the events of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG: BLINDSPOT explores new creative directions while remaining closely tied to the fundamental identity of the franchise.
The Early Access launch of PUBG: BLINDSPOT is available worldwide for free on Steam and supports NVIDIA GeForce NOW, allowing players to jump into the action on a wide range of devices without the need for high-end equipment. New content is included from launch, expanding players’ tactical options. A new defensive character, Blaze, joins the roster, introducing zone control mechanics based on Molotov cocktails that enable new defensive strategies and team compositions.
The Competitive Season 1 is set to begin on February 12, a week after the early access launch. To kick off the season, creator tournaments bringing together 20 streamers on Twitch and CHZZK will showcase various gameplay styles and highlight the tactical depth of the title.
“The PUBG franchise will continue to expand into new genres and platforms, offering unique experiences to fans worldwide, starting with PUBG: BLINDSPOT,” said Taeseok Jang, head of the PUBG franchise.
“Early access allows players to actively participate in the development process,” said Seungmyeong Yang, production director of PUBG: BLINDSPOT. “By launching this title as free-to-play and openly developing it with the community, we aim to shape PUBG: BLINDSPOT together through continuous communication and frequent updates.”

They can also join the game’s official Discord, where the team will continue to share the latest information and gather player feedback.
