The 21st consecutive edition of “Sciences sur la Place” at the Nancy Book Fair
For the 21st consecutive year, the collegial stand of “Sciences sur la Place” will be present at the Nancy Book Fair, which will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at Carrière Square in Nancy.
The main objective of this stand is to facilitate the meeting between scientific authors and the general public, presenting and selling scientific books, author signings, and scientific discussions.
Call for participation: your books interest us!
If you are a researcher, scientist, engineer, or administrative staff working in a research unit such as CNRS, Inserm, University of Lorraine, or INRAE, and have published a scientific book as an author or co-author with a publisher, you can present your books at the Sciences sur la Place stand and hold a book signing session. Register by Tuesday, April 28, 2026, using the mandatory form on the Sciences sur la Place website.
Participation requirements: – At least one book published after September 2025 – Books in French – Maximum of 3 titles per author – Category: General public and youth
After registrations, a selection committee will meet to choose the books to present and establish an agenda of events and signings. A confirmation message will be sent to you later.
Common objectives of the Sciences sur la Place stand: – Promote scientific books to the general public – Spark interest in science among both adults and young audiences – Raise awareness of public organizations and their multidisciplinary nature to the public – Portray a positive image of research in Lorraine

The 2026 edition of Sciences sur la Place is a collegial event organized by several members of Unys (CNRS East Center and Inist, INRAE, University of Lorraine, editions of the University of Lorraine, Inserm Grand-Est, Botanical Gardens, the Science Fair, and the Museum-Aquarium of Nancy).
