The Expendables Team (TE) has set a new record for Vietnamese PUBG esports. After finishing second in the tournament PVS 2026 Phase 1 the total winnings accumulated by the team since the start of its career have exceeded the million American dollars (more than 25 billion Vietnamese dong ). This is an unprecedented number for a team PUBG in the region.

This record is based on the team’s performance during the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2024. During this event organized in Malaysia, TE brilliantly triumphed over formidable opponents from South Korea, China and Europe to take first place. This world champion title brought the team 500 000 $ gains and significant additional income from in-game item sales.

TE’s success is closely linked to renowned players such as Clories, TanVuu and DuckHjeuz. Clories, in particular, caused a sensation in the international media by winning the title of MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the world championship. The constant performances of this hard core have allowed TE to regularly participate in major tournaments. PUBG Global Series (PGS) and, more recently, to land a place at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia thanks to a partnership with GAM, official partner of the EWC in Vietnam.

In May, TE became Vietnam’s top PUBG esports team in terms of total earnings. The cape million dollars achieved demonstrates sustained growth and confirms Vietnam’s place on the global PUBG scene: a region renowned for the talent of its players and its daring style of play.

However, TE is not yet the most successful eSports organization in Vietnam in terms of earnings. The team is currently holding its own in the rankings only on PUBG, and its model has not extended to other games. Compared to TE, Team Flash and Cerberus have accumulated larger total earnings from their investments in PUBG, League of Legends and Arena of Valor.

Looking ahead, The Expendables’ goal is to reach new heights on the international stage. Thanks to their qualification for the Esports World Cup, the team has the opportunity to increase their earnings and consolidate their position.
