AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 arrives at €899 recommended price, enough to dissuade gamers

AMD launches its first dual 3D V-Cache desktop processor, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. A price set at €899 and an availability date of April 22 position it primarily against creators and developers, not players. The gains in productivity promise to be clear, while the gap in play compared to the 9950X3D should remain measured.

To decide on the gaming side, the official figures shared by AMD relate mainly to content creation, rendering and AI. No in-game measurements have been provided by the manufacturer, and we can expect measured gains compared to the 9950X3D.
