Far from the hustle and bustle of Paris and the media frenzy, Éric Antoine and Gennifer Demey chose to say “yes” to each other for the first time. In August 2025, the couple quietly united at the town hall of Aix-en-Provence, in an intimate ceremony with a small group away from the spotlight. A intentionally simple first marriage for two lovers who have known each other for four years, having met in April.
But for the host of Les Trophees, this civil marriage was just the first step. Éric Antoine had shared with Journal des Femmes his desire to celebrate their union a second time, in a more solemn and festive setting: “We are going to get married again because we had a civil wedding, and a symbolic wedding. And then, we would like to have a religious wedding, in April of next year. I think we will leave for our honeymoon in the summer.” An ambitious project meticulously planned, with a summer honeymoon in sight, the destination of which still remains a secret.
Second act: an unforgettable religious ceremony and cabaret evening
This became a reality on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The couple exchanged vows at the Saint-Honoré d’Eylau church in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, surrounded by their loved ones and a gathering of personalities: Adriana Karembeu, Roselyne Bachelot, Marianne James, Bernard Montiel, Stéphane Rotenberg, Camille Cerf, Élodie Gossuin, as well as Juju Fitcats and Tibo InShape, among others.
For the occasion, Éric Antoine wore an elegant dark beige three-piece suit, while Gennifer Demey illuminated the church in a sumptuous voluminous wedding dress with puff sleeves. The celebration then continued at the Cabaret Sauvage in the 19th arrondissement, with an evening filled with performances including acrobats, dancers, live singers, and even a fortune-telling corner.
A memorable evening
Several famous guests shared glimpses of the festivities. Christelle from Koh-Lanta wrote under a video: “What immense joy to have been invited to the wedding of @gendemey and @ericantoineoff at the Cabaret Sauvage. these stars of light through their love, sent love to all those who were there. You know the importance I attach to love, by idealizing it, by putting it on a pedestal because it is the most beautiful thing on earth!!!”
