Dell Technologies introduces its new Dell Pro laptop portfolio. Within this range, a new chassis provides space for a wider variety of components. The latest Intel processors play a key role, but AMD is also involved.
Dell Technologies is launching the new Dell Pro laptops. Under the hood of this product family, Dell has redesigned the motherboard. A more modular approach has created additional space, which Dell is using for larger fans. Additionally, the energy density of the batteries is expected to improve across the board. In a single chassis, Dell supports both Intel and AMD options.
Dell Pro Premium
The Dell Pro Premium is the flagship of the new range. This 14-inch device is thinner than its predecessor. Dell has opted for a magnesium casing and an OLED display. The noteworthy 8 MP resolution webcam theoretically offers superior image quality compared to the average in this segment.

The flexibility of the mentioned chassis is not fully utilized here yet. Dell Technologies is launching this Premium laptop exclusively with the Intel Core Ultra 3 series inside. You can configure the computer with up to a Core Ultra 7 366H processor with sixteen calculation cores. The entry-level processor is a Core Ultra 5 335 with eight cores. Storage options range from 256 GB to 2 TB. In terms of RAM, you can choose between 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB of LPDDR5x.
The Dell Pro Premium is expected to be available in-store by the end of this month. The recommended retail price for the entry-level model is currently unavailable. All other laptops are expected to be available starting from May, with no indicative prices yet.
Dell Pro 7
The new Dell Pro 7 laptops are available in 13 inches and 14 inches. For each format, the product family includes a classic laptop and a variant with a foldable screen. In all cases, you can choose between an Intel or AMD processor. For AMD, the entry-level option is a Ryzen AI Pro 435, going up to a Ryzen AI 9 HX 470. And for Intel, the options range from a Core Ultra 5 322 to a Core Ultra 7 366H.

Memory and storage options are the same as for the Dell Pro Premium. The lightest configuration has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Dell highlights that this device also features an 8 MP webcam. These laptops are aimed at professionals who are frequently on the go.
Dell Pro 5
The Dell Pro 5 is the workhorse of this announcement. Under this designation, Dell offers laptops in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, again configurable with Intel or AMD chips. Customizability is key here, with a choice of five AMD Ryzen 400 processors and six Intel variants.
For Intel, options start with a Core Ultra 5 322 and go up to a Core Ultra X7 368H. The latter is only available with vPro; for all other chips, Dell offers the option to forego vPro to reduce the price (price currently unknown).

Memory options are even more extensive here, reflecting the impact of the memory shortage. Configurations with only 8 GB of RAM are available for situations where multitasking is not necessary. Options for 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB are also possible. It’s worth noting that the 8 GB variant can only be configured with an Intel chip. As for storage, 256 GB is the smallest SSD option, and 2 TB is the largest. Video calls can be made with an FHD camera, but the 8 MP variant is still an option.
Dell Pro 3
The Dell Pro 3 devices are the most affordable. Dell is targeting administrative staff who do not require an exceptional device. Once again, you can choose between a 14-inch and 16-inch chassis with Intel or AMD. For Intel, Dell refers to Core Ultra Series 3 processors that are not yet specified, as well as unspecified options from the upcoming Series 3 Intel Core range, which is not officially launched yet.

For AMD, there are a few AMD Ryzen AI 400 options, ranging from a Ryzen AI 5 Pro 435 to a Ryzen AI Pro 450. Dell only mentions memory options between 16 GB and 64 GB. Those choosing the non-ultra Core chips from Intel, yet to be launched, will have to wait for more details. There is likely an option for 8 GB here as well. Storage options are the same as for all other devices. A basic HD resolution webcam is the base option for AMD, while a FHD option is also available. The 8 MP variant is not included in this model.
