The Matthieu Delormeau affair experiences yet another twist. This time, influencer Aqababe will be tried on October 14th at the Paris court for breach of professional secrecy, as reported by Le Parisien. In 2024, the individual who initiated an investigation to find Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès posted a photo of Matthieu Delormeau on his X account. In the image, the former Touche pas à mon poste commentator was seen inside the Paris court, accompanied by the caption: “EXCLUSIVE AQABABE – It seems to be doing well.”

A photo that was stolen with severe repercussions

This publication came after Matthieu Delormeau’s arrest for a cocaine transaction in front of his home in the sixth arrondissement of Paris in July 2024. A “therapeutic injunction for drug use” was ordered against him by the judiciary. It was a real descent into hell from which he later recovered.

The Paris public prosecutor’s office immediately launched an investigation into the photo publication. The investigation revealed that the photo was stolen and originated from a picture taken by a temporary worker at the Paris court. She has been suspended from her duties since the incident.

On Tuesday, Aqababe, real name Aniss Zitouni, was placed in police custody at the judicial police premises. He spent part of the day in detention before being informed of his trial date: October 14th.

Aqababe denounces a “judicial harassment”

The influencer’s lawyer, Mr. Tom Michel, denounced to Le Parisien a “real judicial harassment”. He argues that his client “is being summoned and placed in police custody repeatedly for trivial matters, even though the judiciary should dedicate its resources to much more serious cases.”

This is not the first time Aniss Zitouni, who recently targeted Iris Mittenaere, has been summoned to court. In 2025, Aqababe faced several complaints for fraud, breach of trust, and deceptive commercial practices. In April 2025, he was already placed in custody for broadcasting images from a trial for harassment, including anti-Semitic character against Magali Berdah, a reality TV star agent.

These cases add to his previous controversies, including in 2018 when he was involved in a conflict with rapper Maes, accusing him of kidnapping and assault.
