On the occasion of the Ascension Bridge, from May 14 to 17, and the Pentecost weekend, from May 23 to 25, the Préhisto Dino Parc in Lacave, 6 km from Rocamadour, offers a “Propellant Shooting” activity every afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. This activity invites young and old to learn about a prehistoric hunting technique used by Cro-Magnon men. Thanks to a thruster and a spear, you discover the gestures that once made it possible to hunt from a distance. In the event of unfavorable weather, the event may be postponed for a few hours or canceled.
You can also go in search of treasure, equipped with a sieve and a bag of sand, you will search a reconstructed river in search of minerals and you will leave with your finds! This activity does not require reservations.
In this site open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can admire the Carbonnières cave with its sound and light show, discover the dinosaurs hidden in the woods and discover the Homo Erectus scene.
