Taipei will welcome Jensen Huang to the Taipei Music Center on June 1 at 11:00 a.m., twenty-four hours before the official opening of Computex 2026. The calendar immediately revives a widely followed hypothesis: that of a first speech around the brand’s future PC chips.
A confirmed appointment just before Computex
Last month, several rumors mentioned the search for a location in Taipei for a keynote organized around Computex 2026. The slot already fit with the show, scheduled for June 2 to 5, but NVIDIA did not appear on the official Computex keynotes page published by TAITRA.
This time, the event has been held. Jensen Huang will deliver a GTC Taipei 2026 keynote on Monday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. Taipei time at the Taipei Music Center.
NVIDIA will also be very present during the show itself. Its “NVIDIA at COMPUTEX 2026” page announces activities from June 1 to 5, while several leaders are already scheduled in the forums planned during the event.
NVIDIA N1 at the center of expectations
On the product level, this keynote logically puts the NVIDIA N1 in the foreground. NVIDIA has not confirmed any launch at this stage, and anything related to the hardware content of the presentation remains in the realm of rumor.
Earlier reports linked NVIDIA’s return to laptop client processors to Dell and Lenovo machines expected this year. In this context, Taipei constitutes a credible stage for an unveiling of the N1 or N1X, if the group is ready to show its first new silicon intended for the PC.
The positioning on June 1 is not trivial. By placing itself before the opening of Computex, NVIDIA ensures a media sequence distinct from the flow of partners’ announcements and can frame its speech alone if a real entry into the PC chip segment is planned.
