Lenovo has officially launched the Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 laptop in select international markets, marking the arrival of the promising AMD Strix Halo chip line. The main advantage of this device lies not in its exterior design, but in its internal hardware architecture, which allows the integrated graphics card (iGPU) to achieve an unprecedented video memory (VRAM) capacity for a consumer laptop.

At the heart of the Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 is the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor, based on the Zen 5 architecture and featuring 8 cores and 16 threads. However, the element that has garnered the most attention in the tech world is the Radeon 8060S integrated graphics processor. Based on real-world testing, the performance of this integrated GPU rivals that of the dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card for laptops.

The Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 is only available in one color.

Thanks to its unified memory architecture, the Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 makes it possible to allocate up to 48 GB of VRAM to the integrated Radeon 8060S GPU. To achieve this capacity, the laptop must be equipped with 64 GB of original RAM. This feature turns this thin and light laptop from Lenovo into a powerful machine for graphics processing, video editing, and efficiently running large-scale language AI models (LLM) without requiring a bulky dedicated graphics card.

To accompany its powerful configuration, Lenovo has equipped this laptop with a 15.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2.5K. This display supports a refresh rate of 165Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,100 nits in HDR mode, ensuring a smooth viewing experience and accurate color reproduction for content creators.

For optimal performance, the device is equipped with a dual-fan cooling system called “X Power”. This system optimizes air circulation and maintains a stable temperature for the Ryzen AI Max+ chip, even during demanding and prolonged tasks. The device also has an 84 Wh battery compatible with 140 W fast charging, thus meeting the most demanding mobility needs.

Real-world experience and interactivity

Another interesting detail of the Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11: its touchpad. Functioning like a traditional mouse, its surface can also be used as a small notepad, very handy for quick design work or taking notes with a stylus.
