A new key supplier is entering the Slimbook ecosystem, with direct consequences on several future ranges. The Spanish brand secures both storage, memory and graphics with a name already well established in these three segments.
What the Slimbook PNY partnership changes
Slimbook formalizes an agreement with PNY Technologieswhich becomes both a technological partner and supplier of components for its systems. The collaboration covers three product families: SSD NVMe high performance, modules of mémoire DRAM and NVIDIA GeForce and NVIDIA RTX graphics cards.
Founded in 2015, Slimbook has established itself as a Spanish brand focused on the design of optimized PCs, particularly recognized for its compatibility with Linux distributions and for its performance and reliability-oriented approach. By relying on PNY, the manufacturer is therefore consolidating a sensitive part of its hardware chain on components already well identified in both consumer and professional PCs.
Gaming, workstations and upcoming configurations
In detail, GPUs GeForce will be used in Slimbook gaming configurations. The cards NVIDIA RTX In turn, professional applications will target workstations and systems intended for content creation, engineering and other professional environments.
