Investigation underway after 4-month-old dies at apartment complex in west Houston

An investigation is underway after police say a 4-month-old died in west Houston on Friday.

Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to an apartment complex located in the 2800 block of S Dairy Ashford after they said a woman called, saying her grandchild was bleeding.

When officers arrived, they said they found the 4-month-old bleeding and unresponsive.

It’s unclear how the infant died, but investigators are working to determine if charges will be filed.
