On June 7, in Seoul, South Korean game developer KRAFTON and Nvidia reaffirmed their partnership in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and discussed new technological collaborations to improve the player experience.
According to VNA’s correspondent in South Korea, the information was announced during a community event for PUBG players in Seoul, attended by KRAFTON President Chang Byung Gyu and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The event brought together around a hundred players and senior KRAFTON officials.
KRAFTON said the two parties will continue their collaboration to power flagship titles such as PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and inZOI on Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform. Participants were also able to test PUBG Ally, an AI companion developed on this platform, thus illustrating the applications of AI in video games.
During his speech, President Chang Byung Gyu emphasized that the PUBG player community is the pillar of KRAFTON’s success. He said the company will continue to create new experiences in video gaming and artificial intelligence through its collaboration with Nvidia.

According to KRAFTON, since January 2025, both parties have been developing an AI character model called CPC (Co-Playable Character).
PUBG Ally is built on a small language model that runs directly on the device and the Nvidia ACE platform, and is expected to be tested in PUBG Arcade mode this month.
The collaboration between the two companies also extends to next-generation technologies. Last April, Kim Chang Han, CEO of KRAFTON, and other company executives visited Nvidia’s headquarters in California to discuss future areas of cooperation, particularly in robotics, with Jensen Huang.
Earlier this year, KRAFTON founded robotics company Ludo Robotics and is accelerating artificial intelligence research for humanoid robots.
