The operation will be conducted under the guidance of the Motards Solidaires 48, who have been leading this action for years in Lozère, and all proceeds will be donated to the ICM at Val d’Aurelle in Montpellier.
This collection also helped fund a robot named “Miroki,” a companion for children undergoing radiotherapy to support them during treatments.
The motorcyclists have big hearts, and their reputation in this area precedes them, as their charitable and volunteer initiatives flourish.
Thus, the Moto Club Millau Passion has decided to carry out a new action for the Montpellier Cancer Institute for the third consecutive year, in support of research against the disease. These volunteers will also participate in the same operation in Lozère with the Motards Solidaires 48 association the following day.
The ICM treats over 30,000 patients annually and provides 60,000 consultations, including many from Millau, Creissels, and the South Aveyron region. With more than 1,200 employees working daily on care and prevention, as well as 250 researchers at the Val D’Aurelle research site.
In Millau and Creissels, 16 motorcyclists will be present on Friday, April 24, at various locations such as the Millau Market, Intermarché Shopping Center, and Leclerc Shopping Center in Creissels from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Since 2019, the Lozere association has donated €94,898.10 to the ICM (no operations in 2020 and 2021). The people of Millau and Creissels will contribute to this cause, with some artisans and merchants from the town also participating in the donation.
Founded in May 2018 by Alain Bouloc, the Moto Club Millau Passion is committed to a cause that resonates louder than the others within the group, over four years after the passing of its founder, who succumbed to cancer. Everyone hopes that the people of Millau and Creissels will show their support.
