But to their dismay, once the tickets were reserved, the prices skyrocketed from the initial range of 89.50 euros to 298.50 euros. The reason behind this surge was dynamic pricing, a commercial practice favored by private cultural operators, which involves adjusting prices, mostly increasing them, based on demand.
Concert tickets become inaccessible
“Many have paid three times the original price for tickets, regardless of the seat or location! Today you can find tickets for up to 12,875 euros,” expressed Karine Daniel, a senator from Loire-Atlantique (PS), during a government question session on April 14.
