50 years of career, that’s worth celebrating! To mark this milestone properly, Renaud invited his audience to the Zenith in Paris on May 14, 15, and 16. Just a few days after the broadcast of the documentary “Renaud: lost heart,” which included several of his close ones, the performer of “Mistral gagnant” kicked off his series of concerts with a show that brought together Jean-Louis Aubert, Axelle Red, Francis Cabrel, and Pascal Obispo.

For two and a half hours, the audience vibrated to the rhythm of the septuagenarian’s greatest hits. While many fans were won over by this first concert at the Zenith in Paris, others expressed their frustration with a particular instruction.

Lolita Séchan: her important point regarding the instructions given at Renaud’s concert

The day after her father’s first concert at the Zenith in Paris, Lolita Séchan took to her social networks to respond to those who criticized the security instructions set by the guards in the venue. “I am receiving messages saying that the ushers are preventing you from standing up and moving from your seats. We had a huge debate about this, and honestly, at first, we said everyone could do what they wanted because we wanted it to be a party. It is true that a seated concert by dad is frustrating,” she initially declared in an Instagram story.

Before revealing why this instruction was given: “But the problem, obviously, is that people who paid expensive tickets for the golden circle and end up seeing nothing because all the people in the stands want to come down to dance, it is also not possible for those who invest or older people who do not necessarily want to stand for two hours.”

Lolita Séchan explains to fans how to enjoy her father’s concert

To avoid any unpleasantness, the daughter of Dominique Quilichini explained that she had to make a decision to keep the audience in their seats at the beginning of the concert. “We can stand up a bit if people don’t mind,” she revealed, adding that tensions were felt in the concert hall. The one who shared her life with Renan Luce then indicated that fans can stand up “towards the end” of the concert, more precisely from “an emblematic song” of her father. “I know it’s frustrating, but considering the cost of living today and what it means to invest in a concert and in travel (…) it hurt me to think that some people wouldn’t see anything,” she added, inviting the audience to “find a way to dance” without leaving their seats.
