Drake surprises fans with three new albums
It’s impressive. Canadian rapper Drake unveiled three unreleased albums totaling 43 songs and over two and a half hours of music in one go. A simultaneous release without precedent in his career, following several months of discretion marked by his musical confrontation with Kendrick Lamar in 2024.
The artist had hinted in recent days that a new album titled Iceman was in the works. He ultimately accompanied this project with two unexpected records, Habibti and Maid of Honour, making a total of 149 minutes of new tracks. Several artists appear among the guests, including Future, 21 Savage, Central Cee, Sexyy Red, and Popcaan.
Songs with a settling of scores
Still marked by the rivalry with Kendrick Lamar since the global success of the track Not Like Us, Drake settles the score again in several songs. In Make Them Remember, he specifically attacks the American rapper on his height, a theme already used several times against the one who presents himself as the “little guy” from Compton.
According to several American media outlets, Drake is also targeting several other figures in rap and entertainment, including Jay-Z, J. Cole, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, and LeBron James, a former friend of the Canadian rapper.
