A fragile ceasefire. Donald Trump asserted on Monday, May 11 that the United States would emerge completely victorious from the war against Iran, amidst the deadlock between Tehran and Washington to find a resolution to the conflict.
“We will have a complete victory. We have already, in theory, achieved a complete victory from a military perspective,” declared the American president in a press conference at the White House.
According to the American president, the ceasefire is “hanging by a thread.” The truce is “on life support,” he also added, as both sides have so far failed to reach an agreement to end the war.
“The ceasefire is on massive life support, like when the doctor comes in and says, ‘Sir, your loved one has exactly a one percent chance of surviving,'” he declared in the Oval Office of the White House.
