The US Montagnarde successfully met the challenge of organizing the 10th edition of the Adrien-Ruyet International Challenge this weekend of April 18 and 19, 2026, hosting 48 teams and over 400 young players from the U9 category in Inzinzac-Lochrist. This anniversary edition was marked by the presence of prestigious teams from France and Europe.
2,000 visitors and over 300 matches More than 300 matches were played on the fields, under the watchful eye of 22 referees. Behind the scenes, nearly 200 volunteers worked tirelessly to make this event a popular sporting success.
The splendid spring sun accompanied this grand football celebration, attracting nearly 2,000 visitors who came to support the young talents and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the tournament.
In an exciting final, Juventus Turin won the trophy against Stade de Reims, a thrilling match applauded by the audience. At the final whistle, the joy of the winners contrasted with the relief of the organizers. “We were running in all directions, all the technical aspects were generated very quickly. In conclusion, everything went very well,” said Mickaël Tison, the event organizer.
The best goalkeeper of this challenge, from Stade de Reims, received gifts from sponsor Enzo Le Fée. A signed jersey and shoes made the young goalkeeper very happy.
The very honorable 4th place of US Montagnarde Lorane Le Douaron, the club’s communication manager, expressed great satisfaction: “The intensity of the day was strong, but we managed everything without impacting the tournament. Every volunteer provided tremendous work and overall satisfaction was achieved.”
US Montagnarde can also take pride in the remarkable fourth place of one of its teams, stopped just short of the podium by Stade Rennais FC. After this exceptional edition, it is now time to dismantle, assess sports and financial results before already thinking about the 11th edition.
