Students from 3iS School present their short films at the CUT Festival
Perhaps it is preferable that everyone forms an opinion? It is possible. All productions presented at the CUT festival are available on its YouTube channel. The audience can thus watch creations from all walks of life. This is one of the interests of the event according to Max Hoeke, a student at the 3iS school who presents “Drowning of the Mind.” “It is also a way to give a chance to those who are less involved in the audiovisual field. Anyone can show what they are capable of through a concrete and creative project.” However, he and his classmate Nil Moussière, who presents “Séquence Interdite,” have already made a mark in the field by joining their school.
For the two students, the festival is first and foremost an opportunity to work with people “with whom we get along, in whom we trust, and to share an artistic adventure among friends.” Then, presenting their work to the public, exchanging with enthusiasts, and “why not, leaving with a reward.”
Necessary trust as collaboration is not without its challenges. If some short films are the result of long reflections like “Séquence Interdite” and its two months of work, others, like “Drownin”…
