From May 4 to June 30, 2026, the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris presents the 17th edition of Chantiers d’Europe. Through their narratives, the artists gathered create a space that is free and shared, driven by a generation in motion. A France Culture show.

The artists gathered at the Théâtre de la Ville for Chantiers d’Europe, whether Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, English, or even Belarussian, often new voices, try in various ways to create connections: this is the common motif that runs through this 17th edition.

The utopia of the Portuguese revolution, the basketball champion condemned to exile, the child-height catastrophe, Elena Ferrante’s abandoned woman, the voice of displaced women through Ambra Senatore’s gesture, Silvia Gribaudi’s empathy, Papadopoulos’s breath, Andrea/Cordelia rejected by her father, are all stories that open up a free and shared space, driven by a generation in motion.
