Sports wagering and online slot machines are easily the leading performers in the March 2026 PGCB revenue report, experiencing increases of 77.07% and 12.18%, respectively.
Sports betting was fueled by rampant March Madness betting. It pulled in $47.86 million compared to $27.03 million last year.
Real money online slots were a much bigger performer than sports gambling in terms of revenue. They brought in $201.37 million, up from $179.51 million in March 2025—a 12.2% increase.

Most sectors of Pennsylvania gaming saw decreases in March
Aside from online slots and sports betting, video gaming terminals are the other PA gaming category that experienced a boost. They made $3.87 million in March versus $3.72 million the previous year, equaling a 4.12% increase.
Retail slot machines are once again the state’s biggest revenue driver at $216.2 million in March 2026. But this figure is down 2.83% from the $222.5 million in revenue the previous year.
Tables at retail casinos made $78.71 million last month compared to $81.9 million in 2025. This represents a 3.88% decrease, which isn’t so bad considering that table games at casino games onlinesp experienced a 9% drop.
Overall, PA retail casinos made almost $295 million last month. Pennsylvania online casinos weren’t far behind after hauling in $252.4 million.
