For some time now, speculation about Nvidia’s “Super” series of RTX 50 GPUs has been swirling around the world, with conflicting release windows. Today, a new report mentions a presentation at CES 2027, while previous reports always indicated an end date of 2026.
The information comes from a Chinese publication, Benchlife. The source of the information is not specified, but it appears to be industry insiders. According to the report, the RTX 50 Super series GPUs will be announced at CES 2027 which will take place in early January. Originally, these GPUs were expected at this year’s CES, but that didn’t happen. Nvidia has instead focused on AI and data center products.
At the beginning of February this year, another report claimed that the RTX 50 Super cards won’t arrive in 2026. Then, a few days later, another report cited a Q3 2026 launch for at least one of the cards in the Super line. Conflicting information about the launch has been circulating for some time, so skepticism towards Benchlife’s latest information is entirely justified.
For now, leaks and rumors regarding the RTX 50 Super cards suggest that there will be an RTX 5060 Super with 12 GB of VRAM, an RTX 5070 Super with 18 GB, an RTX 5070 Ti Super with 24 GB and an RTX 5080 Super with 24 GB. These models will be based on the new chips 3 GB GDDR7 memory, currently present in the RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 laptops new RTX 5070 laptop with 12 GB VRAM and the RTX 5090 with 24 GB VRAM.
