The captain of Olympique Lyonnais, Corentin Tolisso, is suffering from a groin injury that will keep him out of the top match against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday evening at the Parc des Princes.
“We took a risk against Lorient because we absolutely had to win and we needed him. We knew that, but for the next match against Paris, he will not be fit,” said OL coach Paulo Fonseca on Friday in a press conference. However, he hopes to have Tolisso back for the reception of Auxerre on April 25.
In addition to Corentin Tolisso, Lyon will also be without their top scorer, Czech international Pavel Sulc (14 goals in all competitions, 11 in Ligue 1), who is injured in the thigh, and Belgian forward Malick Fofana, who had the hardware removed from his right ankle in an operation this fall. Finally, Argentine left-back Nicolás Tagliafico will serve the third of his three-match suspension after being sent off against Monaco.
