The city launches its Pack sport santé program from the Ribera stadium. An initiative carried by the Departmental Committee of Physical Education and Voluntary Gymnastics (Codep EPGV) of Aude, in collaboration with the National Sports Agency, the departmental council, the local voluntary gymnastics club La Couizanaise, and the city. At the first session, 19 participants eagerly responded to discover a range of physical activities, accessible to all and focused on well-being.
Over 7 sessions on Tuesdays from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., activities such as Nordic walking, gymoxygen, and active walking take place outdoors to enjoy the natural surroundings offered by the municipality. The presence of Remy Gerbet, the mayor, and Rose-Marie Oddos-Pous, treasurer of the departmental committee, was noted as they came to applaud this initiative in favor of health and local dynamism. Guided by Susanne Keyl, EPGV animator, the sessions encourage regular practice of a physical activity aligned with health authority recommendations, in a friendly atmosphere.
