The seminar, held under the theme “Vietnam’s Foreign Policy and Culture: from regional integration to building its global role in the 21st century”, attracted a large number of national and international scientists, experts, and speakers.

This year, the conference organizers received 115 submissions from over 20 universities, research institutes, and national and international organizations. The topics covered were diverse and current, including foreign policy, cultural diplomacy, international communication, language education in the digital age, and the global strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

During the plenary session, many international speakers presented in-depth communications on Vietnam-Russia cooperation in the new context, including: Russia-Vietnam relations in the new era (Ms. Maria Georgievna Mizonova, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang); Vietnam-Russia relations in the era of development: the important role of cultural diplomacy and scientific and technological cooperation (Mr. Le Bo Linh, associate professor and director of the Strategic Economic Research Institute); the strategic sustainability of Russian-Vietnamese educational cooperation (Mr. Shevchenko Yaroslav, director of the International Cooperation Development Department at the Far Eastern Federal University); and the global strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation: achievements and prospects (Mr. Nguyen Vo Huyen Dung, head of the Department at the Faculty of International Studies of the University of Foreign Languages).

Additionally, during the discussions, delegates focused on seven thematic areas related to culture and education; international relations, security, and public policies; education and diplomacy; the sustainability of educational cooperation, cultural exchanges, and language teaching in the new context.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of the University of Foreign Languages, emphasized that in the context of digital transformation and deep international integration, the fields of foreign affairs, communication, and language teaching play an increasingly important role in national connectivity, cultural exchanges, and the development of high-quality human resources.

The FACE 2026 conference offers numerous opportunities to promote research cooperation and disseminate practical academic values, contributing to the development of education, media, and international relations in Vietnam, particularly diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation in the years to come.
