The Meta Camp, a new sports and wellness festival, will take place at the Mateille site from April 30 to May 3.
The first edition of the Mata Camp sports festival, in line with the Gruissan identity, will be held at the Mateille site from April 30 to May 3. April 30 will be reserved for companies, and from May 1 to 3, the festival will be open to the general public.
The site will host a true village where sports activities, festivities, gatherings, and the local way of life will come together, highlighting the Gruissan region. The organizers aim to create a festival of sports, outdoor activities, and wellness at Mateille, becoming a reference point for outdoor sports and wellness while respecting the environment, authenticity, proximity, quality, and accessibility in synergy with local sectors. The goal is also to boost tourism and promote natural heritage, with supervised activities for all ages. Many activities are included in the various programs offered: rock climbing, sea kayaking, gravel biking, coastal running, canoeing, paddleboarding, aqua walking, yoga, cross-training, and Pilates.
A project to enhance the region
This festival is organized by the Latitude association, based in Gruissan, born from the desire to create movement at 43 degrees north between the Mediterranean, cliffs, and ponds. The association hosts sports, recreational, cultural, and festive events accessible to all to enhance the region, bring together audiences, and offer authentic experiences where sports, celebrations, gastronomy, music, and conviviality meet.
