Decisive shock for promotion to Ligue 1, the match between ASSE and Troyes, on Saturday, April 25, will be played behind closed doors at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in Saint-Étienne. The Cauldron will be boiling! Nine days before the appointment, AS Saint-Étienne announces this Thursday that the 32nd day match of Ligue 2 between the Greens and Troyes, on Saturday, April 25 (8 p.m.), will be played behind closed doors! As the threshold of 32,000 tickets sold was crossed this Wednesday, the last available tickets were sold out since the opening of the general public ticket office this Thursday morning at 9 a.m.

A showdown for promotion and the title of champion? Geoffroy-Guichard will therefore be full, populated by nearly 39,000 supporters to push the Greens in what will surely be a decisive shock for promotion to Ligue 1, and probably for the title of Ligue 2 champion. On the eve of the start of the 31st day – which will see the Greens travel to Bastia on Saturday, April 18 (8 p.m.) – ASSE has one point behind (57) the Troyes leader (58) and three ahead of Le Mans (54).

The ticket exchange platform is already open. Faced with the enthusiasm aroused by the match between ASSE and Troyes, and to combat the black market, the club announces the opening, from this Thursday, of the official ticket exchange platform for those wishing to find or sell a seat.
